From the monthly archives: July 2011
July 16, 2011 was another successful day of trail work at Grand Mesa. The weather cooperated again and although the turnout was modest this time, the crew was able to make good progress. At the end of the day the total length of Mesa Top Trail was over 2 miles.
About two dozen volunteers showed up on July 9, 2011 to participate in the construction of new Mesa Top trail in Grand Mesa National Forest atop of the world’s largest flat-top mountain. Together with the core crew many new trail building enthusiasts have completed more than 1.5 miles of spectacular single track.
